Madelyn Small

Paralegal

Madelyn was raised in Brunswick, Maine and is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Throughout her four years at Butler University Madelyn was involved in a number of campus organizations. She was a founding member of the Butler Pickleball Club where she served as Treasurer. Additionally, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and served as a member of the directors of the Kappa Kickoff Philanthropy Week where the sorority raised in excess of $30,000. Outside of her studies at Butler, Madelyn studied abroad in the Summer and Fall of 2024. She took part in the Leadership London seminar exploring leadership styles of historical leaders throughout history. After a summer in London, she continued her studies in the south of England at the University of Sussex. Due to her international experiences she returned to Butler and was employed by the Butler Center for Global Education where she helped expedite the operations of the office. She has also received a certification in Google AI Essentials. 

Madelyn has returned to Maine where she is now working as a paralegal for Johnson Legal, LLC and for the Injured Workers’ Legal Center having spent previous summers as an intern for the staff and lawyers. She is well versed in fiduciary management practices, assisting in the probate administration of client estates and in assisting in the preparation of planning and administrative hearing materials on client matters. Madelyn is compassionate, empathetic and eager to pursue a lifelong career as an attorney.
